* OK, the transition to the new server and new programming language was filled with bugs and frustrations, but it’s all working fine now. If you find a problem, please Hashmail the editor with it at user id: Straydog
* Hare Doktor - Hare Doktor is raving about SHIGGY in his latest bit of advice to a hasher.
* Hash Forum - There is a new thread about Hash Names getting out of hand in the Religious Advisor forum. If you have a thread you would like discussed, find the appropriate forum and post it. Invite your hash friends to join in with the discussion, but hey, let’s keep it friendly as hashers, OK?
* Say Hi with Hash Mail! - Hash Mail was buggy and down for a long time, but has now been fixed. So go ahead to the member directory, look up that hash friend’s user ID and send them a note. They are not a member, tell them about this private method of communications where email boxes are not touched, and tell them to sign up.
* Get World-Wise About Hashing - The Hash House Harriers are successful because of our ability to adapt to the various cultures and needs of locations around the world. How you may view and conduct hashing in your area my differ significantly elsewhere. So please be tolerant of other's traditions. Share ideas with others, but respect their way of hashing and you will come off as a world-wise hasher. Anyway, learning about the diversity in hashing can be fun! So hit the forums and chat room and express your opinion, but always, respect the opinions of others as well.
* Meet Me in the Chat Room! - If you want a faster way to talk to several hashers at once, then ask them to join you in the world chat room. It is now working fine, so what are you waiting for. Too many times hashers peek in, find nobody, then jump back out. If everyone took a look everyday, there would be plenty of hashers to communicate with!
